Go easy on yourself

Saying this to myself as much as you, dear human. 🍃

It took me many, many years to understand and accept that I am human (what?!), and being alive during this time is bringing that back up (some days/hours/minutes, way up) for healing and love. 🍃

Now is the time to practice such exquisite tenderness and patience with ourselves. We are all making mistakes, we are trying to find our footing, we are feeling regulated and not-so-regulated, we are feeling all the feelings, we are maybe trying to still do it all and realizing we can’t. 🍃

If that gentleness and tenderness is hard to find, I will gladly extend you some. Imagine I am holding a soft touch right under your mid-back or sacrum or under your heels or under your head, or wherever else it might feel supportive. 🍃

You’re doing enough. You are enough. If you’re beating yourself up for being in “survival mode,” well guess what? We kinda are right now. As a collective. I’m not saying that to excuse poor choices or behaviors, but I AM saying that to maybe soften that grip and release some of the pressure you might be putting on yourself. 🍃
